Leaf Composting Workshop

Hi All.

Joanne OSullivan who is an Environmental Liason Officer at DCC will be arranging a Leaf Composting workshop in our estate on Sunday Oct 23nd at 12.30. They will be providing Leaf baskets , Watering can and a Pitch Fork. Gloves will be given out on the day. We will need to have a nearby supply of water to wet the leaves when they go into the baskets.

In the meantime, we will need to identify the locations for the baskets. They should be placed in a shady area preferably somewhere in against a wall or near trees. They should not be placed near ivy or brambles.
